VETTORIA Organising Committee Introduces a Simplified Application Process
Veterinary professionals wishing to enter the VETTORIA International Awards can now begin their application by completing a short form.
At the initial stage, applicants only need to provide basic information about themselves. There is no need to upload the full set of supporting documents straight away. Once the form has been submitted, a member of the awards management team will contact the applicant, explain which materials are required under the Awards Regulations, and provide a personalised upload link.

This approach saves time when applying. Applicants can complete the short form first, then prepare and submit details of their professional achievements and supporting documents at the next stage.
The rules and eligibility requirements remain the same for all applicants. Nominee status is granted only after the complete set of documents has been reviewed and verified.
Applications for the VETTORIA International Awards are open until 30 November 2026.

Who Are the Awards For?
The VETTORIA International Awards were established in 2026 by LINTEGA Media Group and the Veterinary Medicine and Life publication, together with the awards’ general partner, Russian veterinary pharmaceutical company NITA-FARM.
The awards are primarily intended for practising veterinarians working with small companion animals, including dogs, cats and other pets.
Veterinary professionals from Russia, other Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and countries worldwide are welcome to apply. The main eligibility requirements are a university degree in veterinary medicine and at least three years of professional experience in the field.
Applications will be assessed by an independent panel of veterinary professionals.

Award Categories
There are eight categories recognising veterinarians, early-career professionals, clinics, laboratories and professional projects that contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine.
Veterinarian of the Year is the awards’ main category. It recognises a veterinarian who has achieved significant professional results over the past year. Assessment criteria include professional achievements, clinical experience, contributions to the veterinary sector and recognition among peers.
Best Clinical Project recognises completed projects with verified, measurable outcomes. Applicants must submit supporting evidence alongside their project description.
Pioneering Discovery / Innovative Method recognises professionals who have developed and introduced a new diagnostic, treatment or preventive method. Applicants must demonstrate that the method is used in practice and provide evidence of its originality.
Professional Expertise of the Year recognises professionals who support their colleagues’ professional development. The judging panel will consider contributions to veterinary training, publications, conference presentations, workshops and involvement in professional associations.
Young Veterinary Professional of the Year recognises veterinarians who are at the beginning of their careers but have already achieved significant results.
Best Veterinary Clinic is a category for organisations. Assessment criteria include the quality of clinical procedures and protocols, the team’s professional expertise, equipment and facilities, the use of modern methods, communication with pet owners, and reputation within the veterinary community. Each clinic may submit one application, which must be made by its head veterinarian or director.
NITA-FARM’s Choice is a special category presented by the awards’ general partner. It recognises contributions to veterinary pharmaceutical practice, including participation in clinical research, the introduction of new drug therapy protocols, and collaboration with veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturers. The winner will be selected by NITA-FARM and will receive a personalised tour of the company’s high-tech manufacturing facility in Saratov.
Audience Favourite is decided by readers and subscribers. Following an initial screening of candidates, an open public vote will be held on the platforms of Veterinary Medicine and Life and LINTEGA Media Group.
A shortlist of finalists will be drawn up for each category, with their names scheduled to be announced in late January 2027. Public voting for the Audience Favourite category will take place in February and March, followed by the awards ceremony in April 2027.
